MLB 14 The Show PS4 review

The PS4 version of this game has been released recently and it looks phenomenal. It looks so much like a photo-realistic game as you can clearly see how real everything looks, and I mean EVERYTHING. The players, the moves, the stadiums, everything. The sounds also scream amazing. The announcers sound so real and you could swear it looked photo realistic. Shadows are realistic too.

Some game modes include Exhibition(where you play baseball the old fashioned way by controlling a team by batting and pitching, Road to the Show(which has you playing as one character regardless of teams as you become part of a team), Franchise, and mini modes that have to do with practice modes. There are also online modes included and the amount of content to this game is bountiful.

The top photo is PS4 version vs. the bottom PS3 version. As you can see the PS3 version looks more flattened and blurred compared to the sharp tool in the shed known as PS4. A marvel for baseball fans here as you can clearly see that the PS4 is much more preferable to the other two(PS3, PS Vita) versions due to the PS4 version having more pleasurable visuals. PS4 graphics seem to make objects pop out compared to the objects in the PS3 version looking flattened.

The players for the PS4 version look much like real players. I must say that I enjoyed going through the Road to the Show mode of the game as I found being put in the place of your very own player gives you a more realistic experience of what it's like to be a single baseball player. Exhibition was fun to as you controlled a team by batting and pitching with the goal of the game being to win. As for Road to the Show, you pretty much create your own baseball player and work your way to the top. I like how the training points are a plus as even if your team loses the game, you still have training points to make yourself a better player.

I heard this game had a rating of 4/5 but a more realistic rating would be a 9.3/10.
