Project X Zone review

A Japanese original game for Nintendo 3DS. Project X Zone is a very great Pokemon style clone in terms of combat. Gameplay consists of combat similar to Pokemon games. What you do in this game is move the character whose turn it is and if close to an enemy you can attack them. If an enemy approaches you you can either countwer, defend, full defend, or do nothing but other than full defend your character will lose health and the key to victory is to K.O. the enemies before your characters get K.O.ed. Gameplay is also themed around Japanese Anime style action-adventure stories. There are many different combo moves and combat looks thrilling when slashing an enemy to kingdom come. The genre of this game is a strategy RPG and a very thrilling one that also makes the story much like a Japanese Anime action-adventure story. Controls for this game work well and Plus, over 50 characters from Namco-Bandai, Sega, and Capcom appear in this game. Graphics for this game are typical for a 3DS game as they have a very good Japanese Anime design in the cutscenes. Characters speak Japanese in which it is not uncommon for DS and 3DS games to have texts only instead of audio dialog. In gameplay, characters look smaller but more detailed than other DS and 3DS games. Environments look suitable and music is great as well as having great Japanese speaking voices. This game could be better made for iOS and Android systems. This game has a simplistic gameplay nature to it as many 3DS games have. What this game comes down to is the feel of Japanese Anime that Bandai-Namco Games has to offer. A great selection of characters just like Disney would offer if the latter made a game such as Project X Zone.

Scribblenauts Unmasked A DC Comics Adventure

For Wii U, 3DS, and Microsoft Windows. Part of the Scribblenauts puzzle series which involves the protagonist Maxwell in a fight with DC Comics Adventure heroes Batman and Superman. Maxwell uses his magic notepad for writing abilities such as summoning objects and adding adjectives to those he must help such as Batman. Using creativity in this game is very important and grammar is also important as this involves need for good spelling. You type in a word and the thing or description comes out but be sure to select the thing that will help you. Scribblenauts Unmasked is the fifth Scribbleanuts game and this one comes after Scribbleanuts Unlimited. Unmasked uses the same engine as Unlimited and both have had great gameplay mechanics and graphics. I like how this game gives you a puzzle challenge. Graphics and gameplay do very well and is identical to Unlimited. Both Unlimited and Unmasked share the same engine, grpahics, and mechanics. Compared to pre-Unlimited Scribblenaut games, these two have HD graphics and a cartoon appearence. Unmasked has an awesome display of DC Comics superheroes in Scribblenauts design with no detail being left out. I do however wish to say that you may run into some roadblocks where you may feel unsure of what to type in. It can be done however. There's no regard to versions in terms of content as all versions play the same with the PC version using the keyboard instead of touchpads like 3DS and Wii U. I will say however that a superhero theme brings more excitement to the story than it's preceding game.

Awesome Ideas for Grand Theft Auto V expansion packs

Since Grand Theft Auto V is such an awesome game and the best game ever, could it be made more awesome? What if new locations and new stories were added, like with Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes From Liberty City(Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony)? What about exploring the rest of San Andreas such as San Fierro and Las Venturas plus surrounding areas such as Whetstone County and North Tierra Robada for San Fierro and South Tierra Robada and Bone County for Las Venturas. Plus, what about North Yankton? I know it's not in San Andreas but it's based off North Dakota with only one town, Ludendorff mentioned. However, if North Yankton were to be featured in an expansion pack, it would be the smallest of them as it would include a city based off Fargo, North Dakota plus Ludendorff, North Yankton and surrounding countrysides, which will be covered in snow. If expansion packs for Grand Theft Auto V are to be made, they will need new storylines and locations. I would draw inspiration from GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City as also some new vehicles and weapons were there. Episodes from Liberty City was considered seperate from Grand Theft Auto IV. Grand Theft Auto V however would have DLC expansion packs be mixed with the original game like The Sims series expansion packs. Example would include having any playable character drive, sail, or fly from Los Santos to San Fierro or Las Venturas. Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas with surrounding countrysides will all be accessable by all means of transportation with connecting highways being installed with the expansion pack. Since Grand Theft Auto V must be installed to the console hard drive, why not make DLC expansion packs that add on. Expansion Packs for GTA V will have the same affect as expansion packs for The Sims 3. The difference between Episodes from Liberty City and GTA V expansion packs would be while the former had each seperate game software in GTA IV, TLTD, TBoGT, GTA V expansion packs would integrate with the main game. Example including all playable characters having the ability to travel to any of the available game environment's. New content such as weapons, gameplay features, side missions, and vehicles will unlike GTA IV Episodes From Liberty City will be available to all playable characters. The story mode for the Las Venturas arc however won't be available until the GTA V main storyline is complete since one the LV arch will take place after the events of GTA V, and two the story will be influenced based on Franklin Clinton's decision in the final mission of Grand Theft Auto V. Since Los Santos and Blaine County are the first of locations in the Grand Theft Auto V game, these locations will be reused for some expansion pack missions regardless of use for either the San Fierro or Las Venturas arcs. For note, while the San Fierro arc storyline will be available regardless of the progress in the GTA V storyline, the Las Venturas arc storyline won't be availabe until either Something Sensible, The Time's Come, or The Third Way has been completed. When that's been finished, Franklin can now access the first mission of the Las Venturas arc which will be located outside Smoke on the Water cannabis dispensary where Franklin will meet Jimmy De Santa, who now works as manager of Smoke on the Water after the events of GTA V. Here are two expansion pack ideas for Grand Theft Auto V: Chinatown Wars II: The main storyline can be played as soon as GTA V mission Lamar and Franklin completed. CTW2 starts when you switch to a female protagonist called Svetlana Yetarian who is a 20 year old inmate at Hollingbroke Penitentary serving a 15 year sentence for attempted murder of police in San Fierro during a drug deal gone wrong. Yetarian is described as having a parentless childhoodn, being raised in foster homes and orphanages. She is the birth daughter of Simeon Yetarian and a Brazillian woman who died after giving birth to Svetlana's younger sister, Olivia. Simeon Yetarian survived a drive-by shooting by a rival Triad gang from Liberty City. As a result, Simeon could no longer care for his girls, leaving them in foster care. Feeling betrayed by being separated from her sister Olivia, Svetlana turned to crime to make a living and live on her own, becoming a prostitute and drug dealer by the age of 14. Svetlana has also been in juvenile prison thrice, first being at age 10 for assault, 14 for drug dealing and grand theft auto, and 16 for possession of narcotics. But at 17, she was involved in a shootout with police raiding a drug deal in New Naples County with her getting shot, arrested, and sent to adult prison. At 20, she meets the wife of San Fierro Triad Leader Huang Lee, Su Lee, whom she eascapes with in handcuffs and leg irons during a prison riot, with Huang Lee waiting outside in a van with other Triads. They would then escape to a hideout in New Naples County, where the Lee's own protection rackets in wineries. Yetarian still shows resentment towards the SFPD and those who betrayed her, joining the San Fierro Triads. Huang Lee moved to San Fierro following the events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars to take advantage of the Chinatown industries on the West Coast, meeting Su Zi Mu(daughter of Wu Zi Mu) and getting married shortly after. Su Zi Mu was soon arrested for money laundering and sentanced to 3 years in prison where she gained a violent reputation. Su Zi Mu Lee and Hunag Lee along with Svetlana Yetarian will be the three playable protagonists in Chinatown Wars II. Su Zi Mu Lee by the way will be 23. Chinatown Wars II is a sequal to the 2009 DS/PSP/iOS game Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars where Huang Lee starts over and moves from Liberty City to San Fierro. Olivia Yetarian on the other hand had been adopted and separated from Svetlana by LocoSyndicate Leader Hector Rivas, father to Lyle Rivas. The Lee Family is at war with not only the Loco Syndicate but the Yakuza as well. Yuka Kasen becomes the leader of the San Fierro Yakuza since her aunt Asuka Kasen was killed by the Colombian Cartel in 2001. Yuka has been the only one in her family other than her husband Nakizumu and son Shizibudi. Also, the ruthless commissioner of the San Fierro Police Department Lewis Dewson is determined to conceal his evil and corrupt ways by being credited as the main player in caputring the escaped Svetlana Yetarian. Missions to be included should include Svetlana reuniting with her sister Olivia and her father Simeon, drug trafficking, Lee Triad jobs, with strangers and freaks for specific characters. Some missions would take place in Los Santos and/or Blaine County such as Svetlana meeting her birth father Simeon. Random events will be available at the start of GTA V for not just Los Santos and Blaine County but San Fierro and New Naples County as well. Svetlana, Su, and Huang can go on trafficking missions similar to the arms trafficking missions Trevor Phillips goes on and Luis Lopez from TBoGT. Casino Wars Royale: The main storyline starts as soon as you finish the end of GTA V storyline and the story will be affected based on Franklin's choice to either kill Treavor, Michael, or the Antagonists. Franklin will receive an email from Jimmy De Santa stating that the latter is starting a cannabis dispensary business. Should Franklin not purchase the Smoke on the Water before shortly after the end of GTA V story, Jimmy will request Franklin to purchase it and Jimmy will ask to become manager of Smoke on the Water after the first two missions of CWR. Should Franklin have already purchased Smoke on the Water, Jimmy will conact him, requesting to be hired as manager. Afterwards, Jimmy De Santa will become a playable character and SWITCH ability between Jimmy and other protagonists becomes available. Barry becomes a main character and an associate of Jimmy's pot business. Barry becomes the main counsul of the CWR storyline. Jimmy comes under surveillance from Karen and her IAA cronies for his international drug trading in Marijuana and escapes with Franklin and Barry to Las Venturas, passing by the Dam and Grant Canyon. Franklin and Jimmy hideout in Luis Fernando Lopez and Tony Price's casino resort. This is how Frankiln and Jimmy meet Luis Lopez and Gay Tony. After this Luis Lopez becomes the next playable protagonist. Franklin, Jimmy, and Luis also start doing work for Martin Madrazo who agrees to help them with their business ventures in exchange for favors. It will also be revealed that Luis Lopez has married Gracie Ancelotti and moved to Las Venturas with their daughter Rosalia Lopez. Lopez runs the Las Venturas branch of the Ancelotti family while also running into past 3D Universe characters Toni Cipriani, Joey Leone, and Tommy Vercetti; known as the "Goodfellas". The Vercetti Gang has operations in Las Venturas with Tommy Vercetti living in Las Venturas part time to run the "Goodfellas" casino. Vercetti has since the events of Grand Theft Auto Vice City married Mercedes Cortez and fathered a daughter with her called Maria Vercetti while raising his nephew Roy Bertolli whose father left him shortly after birth and mother dying two years after. Tommy is the maternal uncle of Roy. Both Maria and Roy are 26 and 23 respectively. Rival gangs should include the Forelli Family, Pakistani Mafia, Martin Madrazo betraying Franklin, Jimmy, and Luis just like Dimitri Rascolov betrayed Niko Bellic in Grand Theft Auto IV. A story of betrayal should be the climax of CWR. Karen will play a bigger role as an ambitious and villianous IAA agent who uses the Mafia syndicates to her own corrupt advantage and then betrays them. Karen also uses her beauty to take advantage of Franklin Clinton just like she was Michelle to deceive Niko Bellic. New heists will play the same as heists from GTA V but will involve rival family casinos such as those owned by the Forelli Family for example plus even bigger payouts. With the cash Franklin has received from doing heists in GTA V and GTA:CWR, Franklin Clinton could be the richest protagonist in the entire Grand Theft Auto series. The player towards the end will have a choice to make but for the sake of avoiding spoilers any further details will not be discussed. New content such as cars, random events, hobbies and pastimes, weapons, properties, and more should come with the expansion packs. Some will be available regardless of progress in story but some will not be avaialbe due to character restrictions and progress in the story. Plus, I would really like to see a vigilante pack which allows you to do vigilante missions just like in the Grand Theft Auto III and IV eras. The drill for safehouses will be the same with characters with some having more than one safehouse. For example, Franklin moves out of his Aunt Denise's house later on in the story but will for Casino Wars Royale have another safehouse, similar to Trevor not just having his trailer in Sandy Shores but also staying at Floyd's Apartment and then switching to Vanilla Unicorn Strip Club. Jimmy for example would live in the basement of Smoke on the Water for the early story. This is just a first layout of my ideas for awesome GTA V expansion packs as in order to come with a final victory, these will need to be planned first before anything else such as designing the game can be done. Since these will be expansion packs, they will have the same engine and graphics as GTA V.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix review

Only for PlayStation 3. Three Incredible Stories, One Unforgettable Adventure. This HD compilation of Three Kingdom Hearts stories comes to PlayStation 3 with ther option of being able to play it at HDMI resolutions of 1080i and 1080p besides the 480 and 720p resolutions that are for many PlayStation 3 games. Final Mix is an HD remake of the same game that was released for PlayStation 2 back in 2002. The game itself has a wonderful story to it with many Kingdom Hearts and Disney characters. Gameplay consists of combat and magic as it is much like a third person platformer. It controls pretty well but for moving the camera you steer left to move camera angle right and steer right to move camera angle left, which can bring confusion. The story on the other hand will make you want to keep playing till the very end. Graphics have also bween updated to bring a more crisp aspect to gameplay. The HD remake of this game is more worth than the original version. Re:Chain of Memories is a card based battle game similar to Pokemon but having gameplay similar to that of other Kingdom Hearts games. The graphics for one have been updated for a crisp HD look. This game has a different story mode to it with Sora plus Donald and Goofy being trapped in Castle Oblivion with rules based on cards, voiding their magic powers. Gameplay consists of using cards such as swinging your sword which isn't unlimited as you have cards this time. Even getting from map to map requires the correct card. However, it does fit with the story in this story of past memories. Sora's friends such as Donald and Goofy can be summoned in combat for aid but alas, Donald and Goofy are trapped in cards. This game is fun however and does have a suitable and unique story with great characters, though not as extensive as Final Mix. 358/2 Days for this version isn't a game but an HD remaster of HD cinematic cutscenes and some of what the game played and that's it. It was pretty lazy of them to do that but visual graphics look fantastic as the other two games in this HD collection. In final conclusion, this HD remake is truly worth the buy.

Lego MindStorms review

A robotic Lego toy that can be made into several different futuristic robots. These must be built with over approx. 100+ parts however and it can be time consuming. However, a free app called 3D Builder helped me through as you could make 360 degree angle perceptions and easily see which parts go where as there are so many parts you need a better angle more accurately and see which people go in and not only that but more specifically which way they go in. So many different varieties of parts you just have to look more closely and this 3D imaging of it gives you a better view. When constructed, the device really works and moves as well. Command is another free app that allows you to remotely control the robot yourself. I tried using the joystick and it works like a joystick despite being touchscreen one. Just connect the app to the device via bluetooth and it will work. I liked how it was very responsive. Each leg is connected by a wire which initiates movement such as ports B and C being used to make legs move. Robotics for this work very well and apps easily replace remote controls here. Now you can have a joystick, throttle switch, and other buttons on one touchscreen. The interface on the device bot itself looks like an old early prototype portable gaming system from the early 1990's but that doesn't matter as much as what the robotics can do. So many different possibilities and not only that but they look like space robots that NASA could build.

Big Hugs Elmo review

A life size electronic toy of Elmo from Sesame Street has arrived with Elmo at his finest. When turned on, Elmo will say over 50+ animations and sayings in his own voice. His arms move in hugging style like any animatronic. It sounds so real and the animatronics are great. You can also have sleep mode where Elmo has statements and actions related to bedtime such as lullabies. What makes this toy so great is it's animatronics and how Elmo sounds so real and life like. What can be disappointing is you must open up the back pouch for not only to get the 4 AA batteries in but to switch between off/play/sleep modes. There's also an Elmo plush toy which has magnets in it's arms for a hugging position. Big Hugs Elmo is truly the Elmotastic experience children will enjoy, especially at bedtime.

Spy Gear review

Note I will review select ones. Spy Gear toys to be reviewed are Panosphere 360, Sonic Distractors, and Spike Mic Launcher. Before I review this I wish to say Spy Gear selection of toys is so amazing and can feel so real yet be merely toys.

Panosphere 360 is a mini camera which you can place at different directions. There's even a separate software to edit recorded video. You can place it at different directions. It really would come in handy for recording secret conversations without the targets even knowing they're being recorded. That's part of what makes Spy Gear real.

Sonic Distractors are just orb shaped balls that if you press the red light button and throw it will emit some sounds. It really works that way. also have a holding case for each of the two balls and clip it to your pants. These are really functional by the way and turn off automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity.

Spike Mic Launcher is a very interesting tool as it enables you to launch the microphone across a room and hear sounds from there back to the base. The sound maybe muffled but it's neat and fun to hear things from across the room transmitted back to the base, like walkie talkies. Both things need to be turned on before any sound can be transmitted.

Just Reviewing some electronic toys

The Ugglys Your Gross Best Friend is a bulldog puppet that makes gross sounds when you open it's mouth or squeeze it shut hard. Actions will respectively burp and fart. You can also change the pitch of the sounds by warping the switch located on the left of the collar. A fly button just above it will make fly sounds. You place the pup-pet in your hand like a puppet. I do feel however that it can feel restrictive and cramped for your hand as your upper knuckles could get pressured by the hard parts. The design of this toy is amazingly sound.

Flutterbye is another electronic toy that is launched from a stand that needs six AA batteries. Simply press the launch button and the toy flies but doesn't go very much depending on surroundings. It's easy for it to fly out and fall after mere 2 seconds. It does however have a neat girl design to it. Just be careful with the blades, despite being mere plastic. Little Bits is a mini-electricity thing that enables you to initiate many different projects that use these electronic gizmos. Use the battery to start the power circuit and connect the switch for power. It is very responsive by the way as it gives you many different crafts and projects to do, like a science project in learning about electricity. A great kit for elementary school science classrooms.

Zoomer: Your Real Best Friend

Zoomer is a unique toy as it has very good AI and responds to objects around the environment. What makes this such an awesome toy is it's accurate response to your commands and voice while having it do many great tricks any dog can do. I loved how responsive this toy was to objects obstructing it's way as it is able to navigate away from objects as not to just keep on running towards them. How do you activate this AI doggie? Just look for the switch beneath it's upper body and flip it on. You can also charge the robo pooch with a USB charger. Press it's back button near it's tail to initiate random actions while pressing top of it's clickable head will give you his attention. Zoomer's eyes will light up when turned on and each light pattern shows a different reaction. Examples include question marks in which you can give Zoomer a command. Zoomer understands English, French, and Spanish. Could you imagine anything with this much AI? Not so much as Zoomer sets record for best AI in any robotic toy. Zoomer deserves an award for best AI in robotics. Zoomer's AI will help develop smarter and more advanced robotics so it can understand and meet demands of people and markets such as assemblty line manufacturing. More intelligent robotics will help make production in manufacturing and agriculture easier and reduce labor costs. Zoomer should be known for it's inspiration in not only robotics but smarter and more challenging video game AI including for example the use of Kinect 2.0 voice command in Xbox One games. Hopefully Zoomer will inspire video game developers to make AI understand and recognize the player(s) personally.

Air Hogs RC toys review

Atmosphere is an RC hover toy that when turned on will hover on it's own depending on wind conditions and eventually land. This toy doesn't use a remote but does use a charging base to charge the battery. This toy does amaze as it is fun to watch but be careful when handling it's blades, despite it being mere plastic. HeliX4 Stunt is another toy this time of Air Hogs' Elite class and can not only fly with a remote control but can also do stunts. It performs three stunts which are flipped with the right hand switch under the right analog. Controls work very well but requiring several AA batteries is a real energy drainer as it just seems ridiculous when a rechargable battery could have been used instead. The toy itself however is rechargable via USB port device. What's also nice is that it's less likely to be damaged thanks top it's design cause it will hit and land a lot. A very nice design by the way, looks like a drone.

From Game Consoles to Apps: The Transition

As well noted, Apps such as tablets and androids will someday replace hardcopy playing machines in favor of digital distribution and app style menus. However, today's apps are not well equipped to handle hardcore games due to both lack of hardware to meet demand and unfocused purpose on gaming, leaving casual games to dominate apps. Advantages of replacing home consoles with smaller app based ones include far lightweight, lower cost, and higher advantages for independent developers. Disadvantages include lack of hardware for more complex games, unorganized plan for accomodating both touchscreen and button controls gamers have enjoyed, and concerns over ability to be played on TV screen. There are several microconsoles on the market but neither have been able to have major elaborate games produced for their systems due to a more limited spec hardware than Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. How can these microconsoles advance to becoming major consoles that could play the same games as Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC? First, how much memory can it accomodate? Ouya and Nvidia Shield respectively have 1 GiB DDR3 SDRAM and 2 GB DDR3L RAM, which are about the same as Wii U(which has 2GB DDR3 Ram). Memory however doesn't cut the cheese as central processing units are needed to handle such high powered games. The objective here would be to upgrade the central processing unit power of these android based consoles so they can be as competitive as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Plus, what form would they be in? Would they be much like Apple TV but with more processors fit for hardcore gaming. Nvidia Shield can play up to 29 streamed PC games and has an HDMI port to play on your TV Screen. The OnLive microconsole is interesting as it is like a small TV adaptor that streams games purchased on the internet to the adapted TV. The reason the OnLive microconsole can work like an Xbox 360 is due to cloud computing in which processors are run by another further source and generated to the player via adaptor. The OnLive microconsole was only $99.99 when it was released in either 2010 or 2011. Word from Wall Street Journal is Google plans to reveal an android console this fall and for gaming sake I hope it's not just another microconsole because Google could give Androids a chance to be as competitive and as powerful as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One or above the Wii U at least. If Google's android console becomes just another microconsole, then it won't market as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If it's just as much of a console as Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One however, it will bring a new punch to the console wars and create a new media format for home consoles beyond merely being casual in nature. The most powerful of the microconsoles is Nvidia Shield so Google will need to make it more powerful than that. The Google android console will be called the Nexus Orbit and it will have features like no other. I will write another post about this next blog.

Just Reviewing Androids

First Android out of the two to be reviewed is Oregon Scientific Meep!, which is an android tablet for children. Meep! can do anything any other android can but is formated differently for kids and parents. For any kid tablet, parental settings and security must be available for parents. This android tablet operates much like any other android and has the same operating system. You can place apps, videos, music, games, pictures, and e-books on this tablet like you can on any other android plus the ability to open youtube, web browser, Meep! Store(with right settings), and of course parental sertting separate from regular settings. I will say it is quite squeaky when you rub your finger on it. This does however work well but touchscreen technology should not be squeaky. Second and final android discussed here is Ematic Funtab Pro which is also a children's tablet. This one looks and feels different than usual androids despite having the same operating system. I couldn't really do anything that relates to games and videos for example without setting up the kid-parent dashboard which requires an email address and password(possibly for parental controls). Once you understand, you'll see it works like any android tablet of it's operating system. Android tablets and phones each are unique depending on manufacturer and format, unlike Apple iPhones and iPads.

Disney Animated app review

Though Disney Animated isn't a game, it's an interactive app teaching the hows of Disney features. I found this helpful as I learn of how Disney animated features are made, created, composed, and produced. This tool is very helpful for learning about design and creation in any animated film or video game. Take for example Wreck-It-Ralph, which was animated using computer software. However, stories and ideas are first hand drawn, like a rough draft. This amazing app has lots of educational tools for designers in both film and video games as they illustrate what designing is like and how it's made to be genuine such as expression and movement. If rthe epression and movement didn't look real enough, it wouldn't look good at all. What else I learned is live actor models were used as inspiration and image for animated pictures, very helpful indeed as it helped give birth to Disneuy Masterpieces like Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty for example. Characters in animated features aren't real like actors seen in live action movies so they must be created step by step. A cartoon or Computer Generated character is only as it is created based on man's creation. This also applies to backgrounds and visual effects as these don't create themselves. So much artwork to look at and so much to learn about this and even much to interact with such as demos for animations including animating Vanelloppe's animations from Wreck-It-Ralph. Also, each animated feature was made to have some central focus such as the Genie Lamp in Aladdin. Also see how each animation is captured to be real as to veer away from looking like beta to looking like gold, by gold I mean final product. Visual effects such as water, nature, and landscape are very important. Acting and dialogue are very important for any animated feature or game as any story or dialogue is recorded before animation even starts so as to match the sounds and dialogue of the actions. What would any scene be without musical effects? You also learn about how Disney animated it's features such as going from manually capturing footage to use of computers known as CAPS(computer Animation Production System). What also makes this program great is interactive animations such as rotations which are important such as models for major objects such as the Tiger Cave in Aladdin, Cruella DeVille's car in 101 Dalmations, Pinocchio puppet in Pinochhio, Hippo Ballerina in Fantasia, and Pocahontas in Pocahontus. Also included are timelines of the disney classics which you can open up and see other events and technology listed in the timeline. All of what Disney animations have been is all told here in this app.

Disney Infinity revew

For Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, Playstation 3, 3DS, PC*, and iPad*. *=Unreleased Disney Infinity has an unusual nature to it as it requires a USB plug in Power Base and figurenes for the Play Set mode you want to play in. For example, the starter pack includes Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters University, and The Incredibles. Two platforms are where you place the matching figurines whereas the other Polygon shaped platform is where you place the orb that allows you to play the Play Set mode. Examples include Jack Sparrow as Player One in Pirates and another matching Player Two. Play Set mode is like a story mode for each franchise and the story modes are very well detailed. Play Set mode unlocks objects and sets for Toy Box mode. Characters much match franchises but you will need a mini-figurenes with the franchise logos on it. The character figurenes have circular bottoms and is two player while the access figurene is polygon shaped. Toy Box mode is a freestyle mode in which you can play any character you have as a figurene placed on the circular figurene base. Content for Toy Box can be unlocked via the Play Set mode. Toy Box mode is more convienent to play as it doesn't require matching figurenes for franchises. However, you will need to place a figurene to play as. Gameplay mechanics, graphics, and sounds all do great as there are no problems concerning these but I feel that having to have figurenes and an Infinity Power Base to activate characters will leave you either stuck with no more than few characters or spending even more money for additional play sets and characters. Why couldn't it have been that at the start of the game you have just Three play sets(Pirates of Caribbean, Monsters University, Incredibles) and the starting characters to go with them(Jack Sparrow, Sulley, Mr. Incredible) and unlock Worlds, Characters, and new Powers as you progress? It seems like the creators of this game wanted people to spend more money on additions than giving them more of a challenge that is seen in many other games. Kevin VanOrd of Gamespot and Nick Cowen of The Guardian were right to criticize the game in it's alternative system of content access by respectively saying "a platform designed to keep you spending money." and "get ready with those wallets." It's ridiculus that the game plus additions cost a total of AUD$460 at launch! Other criticisms include Characters repeating dialog too often and having a very very limited soundtrack, despite voiceovers and music sounding great. What could have been a great game thanks to amazing gameplay and graphics turned out to either leave you with little content or a burning hole in your wallet/pocket. The Sand Box mode however is a joyful experience of freedom in any game being much like Minecraft, building great structures and gameplay. The Sand Box mode surely expands the time gamers will want to be playing for. To be fair, Play Set mode does have great stories and they can get you more content for Sand Box mode. What ruins this game is the requirement that you use the USB plug-in power base which was unnecessary for the game developers to put in as the game would have worked out better just having starting stories and characters while all others could be unlocked via progress in the Play Set mode. For future games, game developers shouldn't make the same mistake they made with the dreaded Power Base.

Puppeteer review

A PS3 exclusive that is a side-scrolling platformer with a puppet show theme. The story behind this is the Evil Moon Bear King captures the souls of children to serve as his soldiers in his castle. A boy named Kutaro is cursed as a puppet and is beheaded. Kutaro however finds a replacement head and has a flying ghost cat named Ying-Yang who examines foreign objects and can find new heads for Kutaro. Kutaro must rescue the trapped souls of the children, freeing them back to Earth. The story brings out array of classical drama and some romanticism. Gameplay consists of Kutaro having different heads(holding 3 max at a time) with weach having their own magic abilities. Magic sissors also come to Kutaro's posession as they serve as his main tool such as cutting fabric, eliminating enemies, and freeing souls. Using this is very fun as it's the hallmark crown of the game and without it, Puppeteer just simply wouldn't be as much fun or interesting. Music in this game is very rivating as it captivates the story's image and backdrop with classical music from 18th to early 19th century Central Europe. Graphics in the game are highly acceptable for any PlayStation 3 game, plus it is also compatable with 3D technology, said to be one of the best 3D technologies given it doesn't comprmise framerate and also enhances graphics. Puppeteer's graphics and theme are very consistent as it gives feel to the theme of puppet shows and how they can be both playable and elaborate. Such amazxing design in puppetry.
