Project X Zone review

A Japanese original game for Nintendo 3DS. Project X Zone is a very great Pokemon style clone in terms of combat. Gameplay consists of combat similar to Pokemon games. What you do in this game is move the character whose turn it is and if close to an enemy you can attack them. If an enemy approaches you you can either countwer, defend, full defend, or do nothing but other than full defend your character will lose health and the key to victory is to K.O. the enemies before your characters get K.O.ed. Gameplay is also themed around Japanese Anime style action-adventure stories. There are many different combo moves and combat looks thrilling when slashing an enemy to kingdom come. The genre of this game is a strategy RPG and a very thrilling one that also makes the story much like a Japanese Anime action-adventure story. Controls for this game work well and Plus, over 50 characters from Namco-Bandai, Sega, and Capcom appear in this game. Graphics for this game are typical for a 3DS game as they have a very good Japanese Anime design in the cutscenes. Characters speak Japanese in which it is not uncommon for DS and 3DS games to have texts only instead of audio dialog. In gameplay, characters look smaller but more detailed than other DS and 3DS games. Environments look suitable and music is great as well as having great Japanese speaking voices. This game could be better made for iOS and Android systems. This game has a simplistic gameplay nature to it as many 3DS games have. What this game comes down to is the feel of Japanese Anime that Bandai-Namco Games has to offer. A great selection of characters just like Disney would offer if the latter made a game such as Project X Zone.
