For Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.
Lego Chima Laval's Journey is based off the recently created Chima series of Lego. It follows the adventures of Laval the Lion and Eris the Eagle who fight to save Chima from terror and injustice.
On the gameplay, it plays very much like other Lego games. You have fighting moves and moving around is similar to the average Lego Game nowadays. Characters have a special power which can use to their advantage. However, you may find yourself in difficult control situations. Plus, you may find it hard to anticipate whether you will fall or not before you find out the hard way. However, health in 2010's Lego games is replenished as long as you have enough nuts. You fight enemies the same way. I can't get laser cannons when aimed to fire.
Graphics however look great for a handheld gaming console looking like PS3 graphics. Environments bring compliment to this game as Chima is themed on fantasy and this game never loses sight of that. Consistency is quality.
Overall, gameplay does have it's problems but is playable enough with graphics feeling small but of PS3 quality. Note: DS version may look different and watered down.

The Best of PlayStation Network Vol. 1 review
For PlayStation 3 only.
When Vikings Attack: a casual game where you recruit townsfolk against Viking invaders in Northern Europe. Gameplay includes recruiting resistance against vikings and throwing objects at the viking invaders. Viking invaders will also throw objects at you to disperse your resistance. Goal is to disperse all viking invaders and clear stages. This game is fun to play as you play the resistance against vikings and throw objects at them. Graphics include awesome high definition cel shaded texture and environments look lot like Northern European countries such as UK, Ireland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. But if I had to guess one single country it would be Denmark. Well done design, great gameplay and a variety of levels which must be unlocked by completing first levels. Well Done ol' show.
Sound Shapes: A platform game where you play a PacMan looking ball and activate musical notes on a journey from one place to another. Obstacles such as red things will kill you while you can stick it to sticky things such as blue paths and flowers. Collecting notes and checkpoints will activate notes and raise your score. You can also use the editor to custom make your own level. Graphics remind you of LittleBigPlanet as both bring out the artistic arts and crafts/cel shaded spirit. The game plays really well and is overall fun to play.
Tokyo Jungle: A survival game set in a post apocalyptic Tokyo, Japan where humans are extinct and animals both wild and domesticated fight for survival in the law of the jungle. Numerous animals both predator and prey compete for survival and each have different abilities. With predators, they attack their prey with animal attacks. This game really set the course for making animal attacks and effects realistic. Truly a realistic jungle/survival experience for numerous animals of both the wild and once domesticated habitats. Graphics include high definition detail and entitle this game to realistic effects. It's simple gameplay does well with best in show graphics for PS3. Could you ask for a better survival game of this type? As a PSN game it surely is amazing. See if you can hunt your way to the top of the food chain. After all, anything is possible in a post apocalyptic world.
Fat Princess: This game involves two princesses from two different kingdoms fighting each other and trying to bring down each other's forts and outposts. The first level for example involves reclaiming your princess while keeping the enemies princess locked up in your fort. Make sure Fat Princess is on the throne while your enemies princess is in the cage. While this game has very fun gameplay to it such as feeling like capture the flag, it can be something of trial and error at first if you play by yourself. Don't worry, killing enemies is fun enough and you also have a barrage of AI allies to fight off the enemies and even do the goals for you. An excellent story set in medieval times involving cursed cake and well done cel-shaded graphics.

Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes
Microsoft Windows, PlayStation
3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo
3DS, Wii,
Nintendo
DS, Xbox 360, Wii U, OS X[1]
This game called Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes follows the epic adventures of Batman and Robin primarily, as you play these characters. The Best Man of the Year awards occurs with Bruce Wayne AKA Batman as winner and Lex Luthor as runner up. Joker and his evil gang invade the awards ceremony and begin attacking. Batman and Robin appear in costume and stop the Joker gang which includes Harley Quinn, The Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face, and the Joker himself bout you fight each one by one with some additional thugs. The story is truly a work of art as it follows the awesome Batman series now in Lego. The Joker unfortunately escapes.
Gameplay is very similar to Lego City Undercover as you can smash objects for nuts and blocks, controls are very similar, moves are similar but with super hero powers added, and graphics are the same as Lego City Undercover. Like the latter, Batman 2 is open world though it does make you focus on missions very much. Though you can drive vehicles, you don't do so much as in Lego City Undercover. The Wii U version feels like the best due to it's Wii U Gamepad capabilities though not used as much as Lego City Undercover. The High Definition graphics the Wii U is more capable of rendering compared to other ports.
Not only can you also play as not only Batman but Green Lantern, Superman ,and Wonder Woman but also explore Lego Gotham City, which these DC Super Heroes must save from the Joker. There are actually 70 playable characters and customization works similar to Lego City Undercover. The open world environment is a great idea for Lego games as not many games of it's kind are truly as open world as this game is, except Lego City Undercover. Both Lego Batman 2 and Lego City Undercover work well between platform action-adventure open world games. This game also has multiplayer features such as two players playing Batman and Robin together at same time for example.'
This game has an awesome variety to it and awesome experience in not only games but Lego and DC comics franchise as well. A rating of 9/10. It was hard to find flaws in this game as gameplay has variety to it.

Sony PlayStation 4 gets raise in morale at E3 2013
It seems more gamers will look forward to PlayStation 4 rather than Xbox One despite the latter having all in one entertainment capabilities.
PlayStation 4 has more convenience than the Xbox One as the former doesn't block used games nor requires internet connection. Sony Computer Entertainment also doesn't punish it's customers the same way Microsoft is doing with Xbox One. You can easily replace hard drive space, unlike Xbox One. Though PS4 isn't backwards compatible at first, you will eventually be able to stream previous PS series titles from Gaikai.
PlayStation 4 would make gaming more enjoyable than Xbox One as the fore Order 1mer has higher end graphics(GDDR5), 7GB out of 8GB for games, 18 computing units at 1.84 TFLOPS/s, no blocking used game discs, and no internet connection required. It seems PS4 will be more connected to gamers than Xbox One despite the latter having four times more GB for games than Wii U. More personalized and understandable gaming experience PS4 will have plus for most gamers better exclusive game titles. So many PS4 titles to choose from and they're not even exclusive.
Notable PS4 games I would like are Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed IV, Thief, The Crew, Driveclub, Infamous Second Son, Battlefield 4, Need For Speed Rivals, Call of Duty Ghosts, and The Order 1886. There are also some Wii U games I like such as Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist, Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros.
Grand Theft Auto V will come to PS3, Xbox 360, and eventually PC but no PS4, Wii U, or Xbox One. It would be nice to see it's expansions reach PS4, Wii U, and Xbox One systems. I bet GTA V will come to PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U months after initial release.
Anyway, Three games on my list are PS4 exclusives while only one Xbox One exclusive is(Forza Motorsport 5). So, I have decided that PlayStation 4 is the winner. Online polls show that PlayStation 4 is winning by a landslide over Xbox One, indicating gamers prefer disc games more and oppose internet connection for single player games. SimCity 2013 failed because of always online requirement. Plus, PlayStation 4 costs $100 less than Xbox One and the former has higher end graphics.
Also, Carmageddon Reincarnation will be for PC, OSX, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. I would get it for PS4.
PlayStation 4 is more appealing to gamers than Xbox One cause the former doesn't have the shitty ass problems the Xbox One has. Angry rants have told people that Microsoft fucked this up with Xbox One. I doubt most gamers can handle these flaws and this shows disc games are still going to be in demand over digital downloads for decades more.
Wonder if Apple and Google will take advantage of Xbox One's flaws by releasing more convenient and more awesome all in one entertainment systems which would be upgrades from their TV systems.

Game and Wario review
A Wii U exclusive already available in Japan but to be released elsewhere by the end of this month. This game involves extensive use of the gamepad, even more so than Nintendo Land.
Gameplay consists of 16 mini-games which all take the most advantage of the Wii U Gamepad without any need for a Wii remote. Four of them however are multiplayer only. I love how these games exercise the Wii U Gamepad's full potential and never fail to be creative. There's also 'Cluck a Pop' capsule where you collect nick nacks and extra minigames provided you have tokens available. Some games are harder or easier than others to understand and they all depend on the challenge the game has to offer. Each mini-game is hosted by different characters. Controls for each game vary with some seeming easy and other feeling harder.
How do graphics fit in? Well, the graphics follows a cel-shaded style plus 3D graphics model and look pretty great. These graphics remind me of the leap Nintendo made with the Wii U and how the graphics make 2007 Wii games look as old as a 2002 PlayStation 2 game. The design is themed around the Wario franchise. What this game is themed around is a parody of the Nintendo Wii U which is a Gamepad controller that prides itself as having Two screens, with one being tablet and the other being the TV of course.
What this game's rating comes down to is a 89/100.

Tipping Point
An App by Daniel Russell Pinson which puts critical thinking to the test but is supplied with hints telling you what to do.
This story involves you first watching TV and being introduced to a portal which takes you to a tropical place somewhere near the Amazon Rainforest. You journey your way into solving a mystery in which someone has sent you a message telling you to meet him. You search for clues that lead to another point in the story. It's basically a puzzle solving game. This game does an awesome job and effects are amazing. Photo realistic I must say and very responsive.
The overall story here is you eventually meet a young man whose father is portrayed as an evil scientist in which only you the player can stop. I don't want to get too much into the story but there are a lot of discoveries to be made in this wonder of a game. It';s ideal to take word from the helpful hints as this game can leave you blocked.
Tipping point is a unique app as it has more detail to it than many would give credit for. Daniel Russell Pinson hasn't been getting the attention he deserves since his apps are works of art and for that I respect him.

Could Konami, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft create home consoles of their own?
Do you know who the big six at E3 are? Konami, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony are holding poress conferences with Nintendo choosing it's alternative Nintendo Direct series.
While Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have home consoles of their own, Konami, EA, and Ubisoft don't. However, they could create home consoles if they wanted to. Would anyone have ever thought in 1996 that Microsoft would ever create a home console of their own despite having PC software. Each company has it's own advantages and such.
Konami is known for it's Japanese style and games such as Castlevania, Contra, Metal Gear, Dance Dance Revolution, TMNT, and Pro Evolution Soccer. What Konami also has is it's physical fitness charm to it. They could create a Japanese Oriental decorated home console that could put Nintendo's Wii to shame with state of art motion sensing controls that have split remote style controllers that can work like traditional gamepads but also combine fitness abilities so you can actually act out the gameplay. Konami consoles could make you feel like you were actually in the game to say as advanced motion sensing technology makes you feel physically like the character without the actual danger and pain in real life. Konami is known for it's dedication to fitness so I suggest Konami could become more successful by creating it's own unique console that has Oriental charm and physical fitness to it while still making room for hardcore gaming in which Konami console versions could have controls that cater to physical fitness and respond to body movement's like Microsoft's new 1080p Kinect. I would call it Konami Kenko
Electronic Arts is legendary and was founded by 3DO creator Trip Hawkins(legend in video game industry). EA is known for great game series such as Need For Speed, SimCity, The Sims, Mass Effect, Battlefield, etc. What could EA do with it's potential? It has a content delivery service known as Origin which is currently for PC, Mac, Android, iOS platforms. Could Origin be the name of EA's own console? Origin has some problems but I bet they can be fixed to be console worthy. Origin distributes EA only games. EA has been very fond of Wii U and programs it's games differently for Wii U than PS3, Xbox 360, and PC for examples. The Wii U Gamepad seems to have been taken more advantage of with EA Wii U games. The kind of controller EA could use is a tablet controller like Wii U Gamepad and Wikipad. It could have the same motion sensing abilities as Wii U Gamepad and Dualshock 4. An Electronic Arts console would be called EA Origin. It would be a separate Origin from it's PC version. Origin could also have an online service like Xbox Live. It's controller could be based off of a modified PS Vita, Xbox 360(shape only) style controller with a touchscreen.
Ubisoft has made great games such as Assassin's Creed, Rayman series, Driver: San Francisco, Rabbids, Tom Clancy series, and it's newest release Watch Dogs. Ubisoft has Uplay which is digital distribution of it's games, which could be used for console development. Ubisoft has also taken liking to Wii U for it's gamepad. Could Ubisoft also make a Wii U Gamepad style controller? Ubisoft has high potential for making it as a console developer like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft. Ubisoft even has it's own motion sensing camera called Ubisoft Motion Tracking Camera which could be as awesome as Kinect 2.0. Ubisoft's console should be called Ubisoft Uplay.
Issues faced here include console exclusive games, how to get started, hardware, and relationship with other consoles. Origin and Uplay are currently for multiple platforms wheres Konami has no program like these. Valve has Steam which is like PC. I know Konami has no digital distribution platform and could easily start out by learning from Sony and Microsoft's startdom. EA and ubisoft however will have to compromise on making some of their games exclusive and making the transition from digital download platform for numerous platforms to home consoles. Examples would be EA and Ubisoft creating separate programs that use the same name but have different programs such as Origin having programs for content delivery for PC, Mac to temporarily run concurrent with EA Origin console before transitioning to being exclusive for EA console while Uplay will still be running concurrent with having other consoles for games made before Ubisoft Uplay becomes its own console. Plus, simulation games best run on PC and Mac systems should still be for the PC and Mac systems such as The Sims and SimCity series being notable exceptions to EA exclusives.
These aren't limited here as Valve, Apple, and Google have potential to be prime contenders. Of course, EA could make Origin more PC like but should make it an affordable console. Should Konami, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft make consoles of their own, the games they publish should be exclusive to their respective consoles. Apple and Google would most likely be All in One entertainment consoles like Xbox One while Valve Steambox would be PC/digital download using Steam.

My end of 2013 video game wishlist
2013 will put all current(7th) generation consoles in predecessor mode and lead to a decline in new games after 2013 for Xbox 360 and even PlayStation 3. I've found just a few new Wii games for 2013 and Disney Infinity is the only Wii game to be exhibited at E3(also available for Wii U, Xbox 360, PlasyStation 3, 3DS, Windows). I've seen the 8th generation consoles Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and I am amazed by them. I already have a Wii U and impressed by Xbox One's features and more advantages I plan on getting an Xbox One.
Xbox One does have numerous flaws which will only make PlayStation 4 a more popular alternative for some gamers unable to handle the former's flaws. As for me, I can handle many of these flaws. I would prefer an Xbox One on grounds that Forza Motorsport 5 and numerous other Xbox One titles I like are exclusive to the console. While graphics aren't everything the Xbox One has 8GB memory, 5GB for games and 3GB for everything else. PS4 does have some more advanced graphics specs but Xbox One can do more.
What makes Xbox One more preferable over PlayStation 4 is the numerous features and convenient use of HDMI input for TV, movies, internet, and skype plus voice controls to go right between each other. Play Forza Motorsport 5 AND chat with friends on skype, making multiplayer enjoyable as well. Usually, I depend on internet the same way I depend on electricity so requiring an internet connection every 24 hours won't badly effect me much. Plus, I usually don't trade in games that much. Xbox One has 500GB storage for all your entertainment delights. Xbox One competes not only with Wii U and PlayStation 4 but is better at competing with Apple and Google TV. Could Xbox One's popularity for the all in one entertainment class be key for Apple and Google improving their TV products to be like game consoles?
Here are some games I wish for Christmas 2013-14:
Watch Dogs(Xbox One or Wii U)
Forza Motorsport 5(Xbox One)
Assassins Creed IV(Xbox One or Wii U)
Call of Duty Ghosts(Xbox One)
Super Smash Bros. 4(Wii U)
Need For Speed Rivals(Xbox One)
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist(Wii U)
Grand Theft Auto V(Xbox One)*
The Sims 4(PC)**
Disney Infinity?(Wii U)
Battlefield 4(Xbox One)
Saints Row IV(PC)***
Wolfenstein The New Order?(Xbox One)
Thief(Xbox One)**
gran Turismo 6(PS3)
*=Hoping Rockstar Games will release next generation Grand theft Auto V
**=Will be available next year
***=Downloading it from Steam.
I should have between 6-8 Xbox One games for sure and 3-5 new Wii U games. I'm trying to decide whether I should get Watch Dogs and/or Assassins Creed IV for Xbox One or Wii U. The Wii U Gamepad could enhance gameplay with Watch Dogs which influences whether or not to buy the Wii U version. I'm unsure whether to get Disney Infinity and Wolfenstein New Order.
The reason I prefer Xbox One over PlayStation 4 is because the former has more exclusive titles suited towards my preferences(Forza Motorsport 5) and it has more features to it. I practically use internet like electricity so internet connection isn't a problem. Plus, I don't expect to be selling any Xbox One games very often. I also have used an Xbox Live account so I will set up an Xbox Live account for Xbox One. It seems to me that Xbox One has more features than PlayStation 4 but I do admit the latter has some advantages over the former. Even Wii U has some advantages PS4 and even Xbox One lack.

Fast and Furious Showdown review
A new lesser known game for Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS which bases itself off the Fast and Furious 6 movie. I must say that while this game doesn't have the same charms as Need For Speed it certainly does better at resembling it's movie counterpart than most other games credit for the same type.
Fast and Furious Showdown is a racing game which is split into 30 missions and 24 challenges(seems too short). There are some need cars however both real and not so. Traffic of course has fictional cars while the racers and characters have their own car in story mode. Saving grace for this game has you smacking down police cars and enemies, sometimes shooting at them, co-operative modes such as one character driving and one shooting, and even helicopter shooting missions where you control a copter's mini-guns and protect a companion driver from enemies. This game fails to have some freedom in gameplay but you do have customization options and completing missions in certain ways unlocks new rewards such as cars, mods, and customization options. Overall, gameplay is shorter than many games but isn't an epic failure or anywhere close to being even close to it.
Graphics and display could have had more polish to it but it doesn't fail to impress as this game takes place in Moscow, Rio, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Mexico, Berlin, etc. Displays for this game aren't as great as expected though it does give ideas as to create better environments for more awesome games. I've played this game for the Wii U and I didn't see much improvement in graphics.
Overall, this game has an average score of 72/100, praising it's cooperative gameplay features and inspiration for future games but criticizing it's short length and lack of improvements.
