A new lesser known game for Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS which bases itself off the Fast and Furious 6 movie. I must say that while this game doesn't have the same charms as Need For Speed it certainly does better at resembling it's movie counterpart than most other games credit for the same type.
Fast and Furious Showdown is a racing game which is split into 30 missions and 24 challenges(seems too short). There are some need cars however both real and not so. Traffic of course has fictional cars while the racers and characters have their own car in story mode. Saving grace for this game has you smacking down police cars and enemies, sometimes shooting at them, co-operative modes such as one character driving and one shooting, and even helicopter shooting missions where you control a copter's mini-guns and protect a companion driver from enemies. This game fails to have some freedom in gameplay but you do have customization options and completing missions in certain ways unlocks new rewards such as cars, mods, and customization options. Overall, gameplay is shorter than many games but isn't an epic failure or anywhere close to being even close to it.
Graphics and display could have had more polish to it but it doesn't fail to impress as this game takes place in Moscow, Rio, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Mexico, Berlin, etc. Displays for this game aren't as great as expected though it does give ideas as to create better environments for more awesome games. I've played this game for the Wii U and I didn't see much improvement in graphics.
Overall, this game has an average score of 72/100, praising it's cooperative gameplay features and inspiration for future games but criticizing it's short length and lack of improvements.
