Awful Games: Sonic Free Riders Review

You wanna know why this game sucks! Nearly everything about this game is broken and bland including bad Kinect controls.

How does this game play? Well the controls really damage the game's playability and Kinect controls make you feel like you can't play this awful game! Plus, this game is so stock for a racing game and feels like you'd rather play a game like this for iOS or Android systems. There's a two player mode but it sucks big time. Hardly anything works and for nearly 15 seconds you'll think the game is truly broken when you start race only to find for short time it's just like looking in the inside of computer hardware. Soundtrack is bad too as the opening music blasts through you, prompting you to turn down the volume on your TV. Kinect system makes menu selection harder and pausing more tedious and how appropriate that Sonic Free Riders has one of the worst menu screens of any video game for Kinect. Selecting is frustrating and tedious and it makes you think you'd be better off using the Xbox 360 controller but sadly you can't do that. The racing modes themselves are just simplistic and a game like this could be developed for the iOS and Android systems. Seriously, this game is horrible and boring to play.

Graphics don't look too shabby but are not as interesting. Sonic looks fine but this game fails a lot at nearly everything. Music and sounds while they don't fail entirely, they are insulting to the entire game. Multiplayer mode doesn't thrive because it's such a horrible game.

What is my final rating on this: 5/100 for gameplay, 30/100 for graphics, and 1/100 for lasting appeal.
Final rating is a very very low 12/100, an F-! This is what a game ought NOT to be.
