Gran Turismo 6 review

Released for PlayStation 3 on December 6, 2013, Gran Turismo 6 follows the Gran Turismo series and is also the successor to the 2010 Gran Turismo 5. Gran Turismo 6 isn't much of a sequal as it seems mostly an update from Gran Turismo 5. On the bright side, Gran Turismo 6 hasn't fallen back on it's content including gameplay, graphics, and great appeal.

Gameplay for Gran Turismo 6 feels much like a real life driving simulator than it does a racing game. The physics feel tight as you race on as many as 100+ tracks and 1,200+ cars. I will give Gran Turismo 6 credit for improving some of the gameplay that Gran Turismo 5 had. Unlike Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6 has a star system that serves as a key to new events. Credits system from Gran Turismo 5 is still retained and the game engine in both Gran Turismo 5 & 6 are the same. Gran Turismo 6 plays the same as Gran Turismo 5 as the former has some reforms to it's gameplay such as having a more improved dealership as there is no more used car salesman as you won't have to wait around for a certain used car to come around anymore. Dozens of automakers and so many new cars. Gran Turismo 6 also has amazing concept cars designed by the Gran Turismo team themselves.

Graphics for this game are much like the same as Gran Turismo 5 only Gran Turismo 6 can play at 1080p and Gran Turismo 6 doesn't fall short on not only looking amazing but has an amazing artisitc perspective as artwork for this game was made in part by professional photographers. Gran Turismo 6 like previous Gran Turismo games focus a lot on display and presentation as the cars and tracks look amazing. I like the user interface here as well as it was a major change from Gran Turismo 5. Gran Turismo 6 looks and sounds as awesome as it is cutting edge.

Gran Turismo 6 is an amazing feat as it just wows you but it recycles a lot of what Gran Turismo 5 was but Gran Turismo 6 doesn't fail to go forward. Final verdict is 8.5/10.

+Cutting Edge Graphics and Sound
+Realistic Driving Gameplay
+Extreme Artistic Display
-More Like Updated Gran Turismo 5
-Gameplay can feel slow
